We were so excited to make this French Fancies cake for a ruby wedding anniversary. 

The cake was made up from two 10" square sponges then layered with lemon curd and lemon buttercream filling. We cover the sponge in a generous layer of white chocolate ganache which creates a smooth and neat finish.

The cake was to celebrate a Ruby wedding anniversary so we decided to colour the French Fancies in Ruby icing rather than the traditional colours including yellow, brown and pale pink.

The customer was over the moon with the design.
