I booked this big 50th birthday cake in at last minute with Louise, and she thankfully accepted the order. The cake looked brilliant and tasted even better. And I swear there was a white chocolate icing or similar in places. We didn’t want the cake to be eaten up so soon, but we couldn’t stop !! Will definitely use “The Duke of Cakes” again at the next chance ! And so I would definitely recommend.

I cannot recommend Louise highly enough. Her cake for mum’s 80th birthday was truly outstanding and certainly the talk of the party. From start to finish, the level of service was exceptional and very reasonably priced. Louise had an immense creative talent, attention to detail and is clearly passionate about what she does. To find someone of this calibre is a rarity and absolutely worth every penny!

There is no one else we would have trusted to make our wedding cake other than Louise! Having had several birthday cakes made by Louise over the years we knew very well how beautiful and delicious her cakes are and how much she cares about perfecting each and every cake she makes.
As expected, Louise did an incredible job on our cake and it survived the hottest day of the year - and the speed bumps along the drive of our wedding location - (sorry for the added stress on that one)! Everyone commented on how stunning and tasty the cake was and it lasted really well after the big day. Now we’ll have to order the same flavours every year to relive it 😋
